KidZania

Today we first picked up Macy at her pre-school, Buzzy Bees.

Then, after lunch, we took Macy, Kaylee and Hannah to KidZania, an incredible children's museum.  KidZania is a privately held Mexican company and there are 11 locations around the world;  two  in Mexico,  one in Santiago, Chile, one in Lisbon and the rest are all in Asia.  I'm surprised there are none in the U.S. or Canada.

The one in Kuala Lumpur has a lot of corporate sponsorship, or at least a lot of corporate logos,  and is obviously very well financed.  It has both "fun" activities where the kids pay KidZania money to do the activity but where they also "work" at other activities (which are just as much fun if not more so than the other activities) for which they are paid KidZania money which they can then use to pay for the "fun" activities.

For example one of the first things the two littlest girls wanted to do was go to the beauty shop where they had their nails done (and for which they paid KidZania money).

Then all the kids went to make bracelets.

You could also make Oreo Cookies

Bottle water.

Take a break from all that work by disco dancing.

And doing some coloring with Stabilo pens.

But then its back to work in a sushi factory for the younger girls.

And Hannah, the oldest, went to work as a mechanic in a garage.

Then there was a "fire" at the hotel right across the street from the sushi factory and the garage, but fortunately the fire department came and put out the fire very quickly.

You can imagine that the G-kids loved this place!  It was incredibly clever and well-organized.  Much better than any kid's museum we've ever seen in the U.S.
